Aleksandar Kolarov, the former defender who represented several top clubs during his playing career, is opening a new chapter in his life.
Details: Aleksandar Kolarov has officially been appointed as the head coach of Serbia’s U-21 national team, marking his first foray into coaching.

Kolarov has signed a two-year contract with the Serbian Football Association, with the primary goal of qualifying for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
Serbia’s U-21 team fell short of qualifying for the 2025 Euros, finishing third in their group behind England and Ukraine.
Reminder: As a player, Kolarov enjoyed a stellar career with clubs such as Manchester City, Inter Milan, Roma, and Lazio, winning the Premier League title twice with City.
For Serbia’s national team, Kolarov earned 94 caps and scored 11 goals.
